Mantra (Ivana Milutinovica, 21, Podgorica) — this is reputedly the only restaurant not just in Podgorica, but anywhere in Montenegro. That seems to be sufficient reason for international visitors to come here – more diversity in local dining options. Indian dishes such as Chicken Masala, Dal Makhni, and Malai Kofta are served here.
Hong Kong (Vuka Karadžića 1, Stari Grad, Budva) – located in Budva’s historic section, complete with a terrace beneath the vines and overlooked by the city walls, this Chinese restaurant (launched by Hong Kong immigrants back in 1991), is a good place for hungry tourists to try the stir-fries, noodles and other authentic Chinese delicacies.
Fisherman’s Pub (Šetalište, Budva) – as the name implies, this restaurant by Budva harbor serves various seafood items, as well as pizza. Of course, many of the patrons simply come here for the ambiance typically associated with restaurants that offer views of the harbor.
Dukley Beach Lounge (Zavala Peninsula, Budva 85310) – this restaurant (as part of a luxury development called “Dukley Gardens”) serves a variety of dishes (from seafood to Italian). Still, the main draw for this restaurant is the seaside location and views. There’s also live entertainment during the evening (mainly for a mature 30-and-above crowd).
Catovica Mlini (Konoba Ćatovića Mlini; 85338 Morinj) – located a 30-minute drive west of Kotor (across the Bay of Boka), this restaurant at a village named Morinj offers a variety of local seafood-based meals in a picturesque rustic country setting.
